I just came arrived to the house. I visited Celsus and Zenias in their condominium at 206 D No. 452 Edsa, Guadalupe, Makati.

Celsus was not yet home, he is expected at 11:00 p.m. - that is the time his duty will end.

Only Zenias was in the house.

I took the black honda and parked it at the office then rode the MRT going to them and took the MRT back to GMA Kamuning where I left the black car.

I bought potatoes for steaming. Bath Soap, Rose Bowl Sardines, tomatoes, white onions, and cucumbers at Eunilaine.

Tomorrow I will wake up early and cook steamed fish.

Perlas emailed me. She is now in Surabaya, Indonesia. She joined Orbis for the Indonesia and Vietnam Trip.

Saturday October 25 2008

I am alone in the house. A lady called up who wanted to offer credit cards. I told her Banco de Oro gave me one and I did not use it for one year until it expired. She wanted a referral. I told her to call the bank manager of Banco de Oro. I also told her to use her initiative and find out what the phone number of the bank manager is.
I opened the blog of Mrs. G. . I saw a list of service center numbers. I tried the Imarflex Service Center listed. All I got for the numbers there was the number you dialed is not yet in service.
So I posted a message to the owner of the blog telling her what I experienced.
The laundry woman, Precy Egan, came and delivered this week's clean laundry. She brought the used laundry for washing. She looked at the Xylotrupes Gideon beetles - we brought two females and one male from Subic Tarlac Expressway entry point subic side - and kept it in the unused aquarium Perlas had in the house.
They were hiding inside the earth Celsus placed in the aquarium. Precy asked if the salagubang also hides in the earth.
I told her my experience is that they are among the leaves of mango, avocado, and siniguelas.
Her question reminded me, I have to buy bananas for the beetles. But I will give them slices of apple - I saw that I have one in the refrigerator.
There was a momentary loss of power lasting about two minutes. The Imarflex Emergency light beside the refrigeration went on and did not go off when the power returned. I felt like tinkering with it. But I shall calll Imarflex first on what to do - not that I don't know their answer which is bring it over so we can check it.

Salad Cucumbers Salted Cucumbers

Early yesterday, Armado flew early in the morning for Palompon, Leyte to take part in Operation Smile. He took a flight from Centennial Airport.
With the East Avenue ENT HNS team they will perform surgery on cleft patients in Leyte. He will be back on Sunday.

Today is October 24, 2008...a Friday. Outside the sun is brightly shining. Present in Celsus office this morning are Eula Castillo Lacon, Roshyl Laro, Jimmy Provido.
Andy is not yet in. James is delivering to Generica.
The shelving frames in the warehouse is already assembled. It needs the plywood now.
Yesterday I went to China World at the World Trade Center. Chinese products including vehicles were on display. I met Lorenzo of LEC Engineering while there. We went around but inasmuch are the displays were similar to 168 in Binondo, he left after an hour.
I went around once more and was able to talk with Kate Jauregui of Choaothiansiu, distributors of light bulbs - Sylvania, Osram, Hyundai. Checked prices with her and we can use some of her bulbs for the Bailey Lovey Chart.
Learned from her that her father is with the Phil. Retirement Authority in Makati but is about to retire.
I called up Chemist Milo Notario and we talked about prospects for the future.
I told him I am in Pangasius and we briefly discussed his San Rafael experience. I told him we can use the fish culture for fund raising at the Davao School for the Blind.

SALAD CUCUMBERS
My interest now is taken up with the preservation of vegetables. I am starting with cucumbers - salted cucumbers. I have also salted ginger. It is in the refrigerator now.

ARGAO
I sent an email to Linda Kintanar Alburo regarding the Argao 2008 town fiesta. She was an awardee during the affair.
I also visited the Argao Municipal website. I posted comments about my view of Argao when I was growing up there.

Why A Paid World Tourist?

Let me tell you the ways. One, I became a medical drug salesman. As an employee of the company, I was paid a salary, and received per diem, transportation allowance. I also got incentives for selling over and above my quota.
As a tourist it was my job to go all over my territory, visit professionals (doctors and pharmacists) with all expenses paid: my transportation, my hotels, and my food. And I get a salary and incentives too.

Who says it is work to go from one place to another to visit friends?
This means friends that are yet to be made when I was new, and old friends when I had been in the territory for a period of time.

And there were ladies too - ladies who pass the time with me in the places I visit. Beautiful Ladies who shared my visions and my dreams and my emotions. We were young and we enjoyed life.

Monday At Celsus

Start day: February 4, 2008. Cloudy day but patches of blue were in the sky. It drizzled this morning, but I had the black car washed and waxed.
Today's blog will be about values...what I learned as a paid tourist here in Manila.
I visited Wellness Pro Inc. with Rudy Guevara to have the digital blood pressure monitor checked. Their office is at Richmonde Plaza, Room 902 in Ortigas Center.
Mr. Joseph Chan Juan attended to our problem. I bought the unit AND Model 767+ May 9, 2006.

Today is May 23, 2005. The Digital Blood Pressure Monitor is back with me. For P900 they replaced a valve, they said. And the monitor is back in Zamboanga City. In the meantime I bought another blood pressure monitor. This is an Omron brand which can remember and keep its records in memory until erased....I think for 120 pressure takings.
